BSFA Awards – Vote now, time is short

The Milford committee would love to have your support for ECLECTIC DREAMS in the Best Collection Category. Though it doesn’t say on the listing, it’s edited by  J W Anderson, Liz Williams and Pete W Sutton .  This is the Milford Anthology raising funds for the Milford Writers of Colour Bursary. It features a previously unpublished story by Neil Gaiman and lots of other excellent stories that have been through the Milford Mill, and are reprinted here.

BSFA members and Eastercon 2024 attendees, if you don’t know where to cast your vote this year, you might consider the following. You can vote for up to 4 items in each category.

Here are the Milford alumni on this year’s long-list for the BSFA awards. If you go to this page you can find the relevant links for more details: https://www.bsfa.co.uk/bsfa-awards-longlist. The awards are voted on by members of the British Science Fiction Association and by the members of the year’s Eastercon, the national science fiction convention, held since 1955. This year’s Eastercon, Levitation, will be at the Telford International Centre, 29th  March to 1st April 2024, where the winners will be announced.

Nominations for the longlist close on 23:59 on 20 of February 2024. This vote will form the BFSA short list, for the BFSA Awards. Members will be able to vote for for the the BFSA Awards when the shortlist is announced. For further information, you can visit the BFSA website.
