Live Blogging from Milford – Thursday

We’ve finished the last of the critique sessions for the week, and – whoo-hoo – it all went very well. It’s been a great group of people to work with. The balance was good. Out of 14 participants 6 were completely new to Milford and the rest were old hands, or at least had been before even if it was only once.

L – R: Jacey Bedford, Janet Forbes, Ida Keogh, Siobhan McVeigh, Mariella Verdijk, Akotowaa Ofori, Jim Anderson, Neon Yang, Liz Williams, Tiffani Angus, Chris McCartney, Soe Oke, Powder Thompson, Pauline Dungate.

Tomorrow we can all do our own thing. Tiff, Jim and Jacey are going to Gladstone’s Library to see the venue for our Milford Retreat in May 2024. Pauline is heading into Caernarfon by car, with any who want to go. Some will stay at Trigonos to get some work done, or just to decompress. And then we’ll all meet up again for dinner in the evening and one last session in the library for drinks, chat and laughter.

We all go our separate ways on Saturday morning after breakfast, sad to be leaving old friends and new, but safe in the knowledge that we’ll meet up again at conventions or future Milfords.
